The Fall Giveaway Season is getting going with a rush of new events. I joined this one today and upgraded for $12.95 which allowed me to put 4 gifts in as well as several Special Offers and four text ads.

By the way I always take advantage of the text ads, but don’t really expect them to do much. In my soon to be released series of interviews called Messages from the Battlefront, I interviewed a Giveaway Promoter who admits they get very few clicks. The special offers however do better.

The Depot Giveaway runs from September 3rd to the 13th, which picks up two weekends.

I don’t always recommend upgrading on every Giveaway, but I do on the better events, and with this package you will have multiple products that make upgrading worth while.  Most upgrades allow you to offer two or three products. This is a great giveaway.  Stephanie Mulac has done it again!

Well over 400 free gifts, with a strong emphasis on products and information needed for blogging, but much more as well.

I highly recommend you check out this event. There are a half dozen other events open now, but all of them combined probably don’t have half what’s available here. More important, there are great items here that have never been offered in a Giveaway before. I know. One of my gifts was created specifically for this event.

Stephanie Mulac is promising another fun and profitable giveaway event.

So far, Stephanie has won my heart for the way she got JV partners to mail not just for the opening of her last event but several times during the event as well. That second and third mailing really helps drive up the traffic and thus multiplies your opt-ins, if you have good freebies to offer.

The theme this time is blogging.  People who blog need almost everything, so feel free to offer products that are only indirectly related to blogging.

I upgraded at the gold level, and I recommend you do to.  This is a giveaway where it pays to upgrade.  It’s not expensive and allows multiple products. You’ll get some dups who sign up for all your products, but I figure I get about 50% more unique signups when I do two rather than one gift. It’s even more with a third or fourth gift, if the event allows.

So if you have multiple products, upgrade and put them up there.

Now a couple of these guy like Guido do a fair amount of giveaways, but this one has $2000 in incentives for the top promoters and the net result is that the big boys have not only joined in to promote it, they have offered up some excellent gifts as well.

A lot of the canned promo’s for giveaways suggest that you can get 100′s of new members from giveaways. With most events you are lucky to get 10-20. With an event like this, it’s really possible to get 100′s of new list members. Again the difference is that some big names with big lists will be promoting this event to their lists, for the cash prizes and for the bragging rights.

Now if you really and truly can’t afford $27, just sign up as a free contributor. And then promote it as hard as you can to earn the extra five points you will need to add a product.
