Upgrade on This One: Underground GiveAway

There are times when it’s not easy to decide whether or not to upgrade on a GiveAway event.  Then there are time when it’s easy, and friends this is an easy one.

The Underground Gifts Giveaway already has BIG names promoting it. Including people who do not routinely promote Giveaways, such as Andrew Fox, Chris Freville, Jeff Dedrick, Phil Henderson, Kim Roach, Willie Crawford and Guido Nussbaum.

Now a couple of these guy like Guido do a fair amount of giveaways, but this one has $2000 in incentives for the top promoters and the net result is that it will draw a huge number more visitors than the typical every day event.

Why? Because the prize money will motivate the biggies to promote to their large lists. This means there will be a ton of people coming to the event. People you want to get on your list.

Now a lot of contributors have already flocked into this just to catch the wave of traffic. And they are wise to do so. But if you really want to make this event work for you,  you need to upgrade to set yourself off from the crowd.

With an upgrade you get additional points that you can use to either add more gifts or to rank you gifts higher in the queue. In my case, I bought the third upgrade.  It cost $27 and earned me 50 points, which when combined with the 10 you get for confirming my email, gave me enough to submit 4 gifts.  So far I have entered just 3, I may add another or I may use the remaining 15 points to push all 3 up by 5 points to lift them above the vast majority of players, or maybe I will allocate all of the 15 to my most popular gift.

I won’t decide until we get nearer to the actual launch date which is June 28th. I will also earn points from promotion of the event.  These I will allocate to moving my gifts up the queue.

A lot of the canned promo’s for giveaways suggest that you can get 100′s of new members from giveaways. With most events you are lucky to get 10-20. With an event like this, it’s really possible to get 100′s of new list members. Again the difference is that some big names with big lists will be promoting this event to their lists, for the cash prizes and for the bragging rights.

Now if you really and truly can’t afford $27, just sign up as a free contributor. And then promote it as hard as you can to earn the extra five points you will need to add a product. It will pay off in new list members and that is the secret to building your long term success in the affiliate marketing world.
