This is another of the better Giveaways, and I recommend you participate in it. But be forewarned that they have three different up-sells that start at $99 and work down.

These may well be worth it, as they will draw a lot of visitors and the upgrades entitle you to some distinct bennies, but I have to admit, I have never popped for such high dollar upgrades.

This is another one where you need to either upgrade or recruit people to even get your product listed. It takes 15 points to list a product. You get 10 for signing up and confirming your email, but need 5 more to list a product if you don’t upgrade at at least one of the three levels. You get 3 points for recruiting a JV Partner and 1 point for each member, so it’s not that hard to do this one as a freebie if you have a list to promote to. If you don’t I’d have to recommend that you do at least the third or lowest cost upgrade.

You might get the idea that this would limit the action but its just the reverse. They already have over 500 JV’s signed up. In part that’s because this is the third or fourth year for this event and its grown and done well each time before.

Bottom line, you want to be in this, and if you can save yourself a lot of grief and upgrade at the level you feel most comfortable with.

They have a $2000 prize pool that they will share with some big shakers and movers who will drive traffic to the event. That type of money does work to get folks with bigger lists to push the event which is why this one is worth getting into.

The Big Easter Giveaway has opened its doors. This is one of the biggest giveaways of the year. You won’t want to miss it. But just as you caution your kids to not eat everything in their Easter Basket, you too need to be selective in how you approach a major event like this.

Don’t pig out. Instead think about what you need to more forward in your current projects. And then look for items that will advance you. Try to avoid too many distractions. But that said, my mom always stuck in a little toy or two into my Easter basket. Typically a kite or balsa wood glider. It’s okay to explore a new arena from time to time. But don’t get overwhelmed and drown in a sea of information overload.  If you always wanted to explore a topic, find a promising gift in the area and set aside time to really explore it, but don’t let it knock you off your current game plan.

The Easter Giveaway is in its fourth year and is one of the biggies. Already over 500 contributors have signed up, and some are suggesting it may go as high as 1000 by the time it launches.

When you sign up as a contributor there are a few things you should know about this event. It will be big, so you do want to consider the upgrades. There are three options which include some significant products to make them worthwhile. You will be pitched the most expensive first and then two less expensive options. The least expensive is the “Silver” level at $37.

Each of the upgrade levels include significant products and points that will not only allow you to post more products, they will help you get better visibility for your products.

If you don’t take any of the upgrades, you will discover that you need to have 15 points to post a gift in the event. Now you can get 10 of the 15 just for confirming your email address, but you will need to either buy in and or recruit members or contributors to earn points to post. A new member gets you 1 point, A new contributor gets you 3, if anyone you sign up, upgrades you get 10 points.

Its also possible to buy points from inside the event. You won’t get any of the products that are offered in the one time offer, but for $17 you can get 20 points which with your 10 points for confirming your email puts you in position to offer 2 gifts. This is the route I think many people will take.

If you can afford it, and/or like the products offered, definately grab the upgrades, if not, you can always limp in for free and recruit new contributors, just 2 new contributors and you are in free. If all else fails buy the extra points for $17 and participate that way.

This event will be well promoted. If you have a product with appeal you will get a lot of takers.
