You’ve been told about a great give away site like the current Thanksgiving Give Away. When you go there and register the first thing you see isn’t a lot of freebies. Instead it’s a honking long ad that looks very interesting, but isn’t free.
At first your reaction might be that someone is trying to rip you off. But wait. Be sure to scroll to the very bottom of the ad. Chances are you will see a statement to the effect of No Thanks, I’ll Skip this offer. Take me to my account. or something similar.
Most Give-Away sponsors allow the contributors who pay an upgrade fee the chance to post Paid offers. These are rotated into view when people first come to the site. It’s a way for the people contributing products to make some money, in addition to getting leads from the event.
This helps attract better quality products and contributor. It also gives you the chance to not only get a lot of free products, but also some worth while paid products.
Now frankly, I tend to automatically scroll to the bottom without reading many of these, but every now and then one catches my attention. I recommend you give them a look see – at least to determine if it is something you would be willing to pay for. But if not, feel free to scroll down and search for the entry link.

Nice post Earl. I think that many people who join giveaways are not aware of the paid options, so they can get confused. But your post does a great job at explaining it.

Yes it can be confusing but there are quite a few quality products that can help people there.

Definitely some good advice to someone first coming to a giveaway site. It can be overwhelming some time
